I don't know why it took us so long to come here but it took the restaurant we were going to be closed since we were craving fish. The Clam Chowder was delicious. You may be wondering why I took a photo of bread...it's because this is the 1st restaurant we've ever been to where our server, Renae, put the butter under the warm bread to soften it for spreading!! Kudos, Renae, for also recommending the Blackened Salmon when I couldn't make up my mind...Awesome!! The Cilantro Sauce was amazing! My husband also enjoyed the Stuffed Shrimp. For dessert, we had warm Spring Apple Rolls with Vanilla Ice Cream & sprinkled with Cinnamon. Perfect ending to an amazing meal!
When we just want to chill and have great food. We go straight to Riverview Bistro. They never disappoint, have a pleasant atmosphere, and have awesome service. We went on this day to celebrate a family members career achievement.
We enjoyed a family celebration today at Riverview and had a ball! The service was excellent. Food was very good, beautiful facility and great views of the water. Perfect day. Perfect celebration. I will definitely be back!
I love that this restaurant is by the water front. Such beautiful scenery at sunset. The waitress was super friendly. She provided good service. The food was tasty and fresh. I enjoyed my cheese cake and espresso.
Good quality food, staff was very courteous and knowledgeable, a little bit on the out-dated side but non the less had a good evening.
A very nice place for a family dinner or an intimate meal. The dining areas are spacious and immaculate. There is a room with a water view of the sound. Large menu that should satisfy everyone. I had the scallops and my wife had battered shrimp. Both delicious. Our friends had the short ribs and the salmon. No complaints from anyone. Lots of parking and they have party rooms. Awesome all around.
Chris is incredible to work with for our event! He helped make wedding plan less stressful. He was very understanding and quick to respond with any questions that my husband and I had making for a stress-free Wedding Day. Although the food wasn't what we usually enjoy when we go for date night, it fed the lot! Atmosphere was great and the space is perfect for dining and dancing for around 70 people. Lots of parking and great view for photos. Would recommend them for banquets/weddings! Thanks again, Chris. You're a rockstar!
Beautiful location with a view of the water. Food is always excellent. Last visit was with a few (7) of my sister-friends. We are a lively bunch when we do get the time to be together and the staff are all very friendly and provide great service. As soon as we walked in our server was waiting at the desk and immediately led us to our area and guided the rest of the party as they trickled in.
This was my second time dining at River View Bistro, and once again it was an exceptional experience. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and perfectly complemented by the gorgeous riverfront view. The food was outstanding—fresh, flavorful, and thoughtfully prepared. Just like my first visit, the seafood stood out for its freshness and quality. Every bite reminded me why this place is such a gem. The appetizers were generous in portion and so delicious that it was tempting to make a meal out of them alone. River View Bistro has quickly become one of my favorite spots. Consistency is key when it comes to restaurants, and they’ve more than proven they can deliver. I’m already looking forward to my next visit.
I have been wanting to try out this restaurant for a while. I finally got the opportunity to eat her. I ordered pasta with garlic and butter and the meatballs and tomato sauce. I also ordered the fried calamari. Let me tell you the food was so fresh and tasty. The calamari was so fresh the past was so tasty had actual chopped garlic in it. Nothing frozen here all fresh battered and cooked to order. Great food tasty wine good service.
